Tourists from India and China will get the visa-free entry in Malaysia Throughout 2020. This new announcement is the part of the country’s Visit Malaysia Year 2020 promotion that aims to boost the tourism of the country.
If you are excited, there are a few important things you should note. The visit can no longer be 15 days and you will have to register via the electronic travel registration and information system. After the registration, you must travel to Malaysia within 3 months. You cannot stay more than 15-days under this visa-free entry program.
Upon arrival, you must prove that you have sufficient cash for expenses or credit cards to pay bills. You will also be asked to show a valid return ticket.
Entrance and exit should also be through authorized airports or through the immigration control posts.

After making a successful Visa-free trip to Malaysia, you are allowed to re-register after 45 days from the date you last left the country.
The country recorded 2.41 million tourists from China and 539,167 tourists from India. During the period of January to September in 2019. Tourism Malaysia is now expecting 7% growth in tourist arrivals from China and India after this announcement.
