Sita Gufa is located near Panchvati. This is said to be the spot from where Sita was kidnapped by Ravana.

There is a narrow staircase that leads to the cave. People have now put the idols of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman. There is also a Shivling and it is believed that this Shivling is the one Sita worshipped.

Sit Gufa is very small and you can easily pass it without noticing. This place attracts enough crowd and you will have to wait for up to an hour to go inside the cave. You may also get no crowd if you are lucky enough.

Inside the gufa, you will have to bend down to go through it. Height of the gufa is around 2.5 to 3 feet and it becomes more narrow as you go inside. Obese people should avoid entering in this gufa because they will surely find it hard to enter and may face breathing issue.
