Trek Route:

  1. Solang Valley (2,560 meters) to Dhundi (2,680 meters): The trek starts from Solang Valley and follows a gradual ascent through lush green forests, offering beautiful views of the Beas River and surrounding mountains. Dhundi serves as the first campsite and is approximately a 2 to 3 hours trek from Solang Valley.

  2. Dhundi to Bakarthach (3,300 meters): From Dhundi, the trail continues along the Beas River, gradually ascending towards Bakarthach. Bakarthach is a picturesque meadow with vibrant flowers, offering a serene camping spot. The trek from Dhundi to Bakarthach takes around 4 to 5 hours.

  3. Bakarthach to Beas Kund (3,700 meters) and Return: From Bakarthach, the final leg of the trek takes you to the Beas Kund, the glacial lake that is the highlight of the trek. The trail is moderately steep, but the breathtaking views make it worthwhile. Spend some time at Beas Kund, soaking in the scenic beauty, before retracing your steps back to Bakarthach.
