WINTER (NOVEMBER TO JANUARY)
Winter brings to Shimla the jaw-dropping scenic beauty and endless fun with snow for the visitors. The season starts from November and the cooler weather progresses from December to January. The sight-seeing activities are greatly carried out during the initial days of the season. Gradually, snow fills the landscape with enhancing exciting activities. Temperature ranges from -6°C to 8°C.

SUMMER (MARCH TO JUNE)
Shimla has the most pleasing spring season which contributes to its attraction. The temperature is raised to a comfortable level of 16°C to 30°C, such that the tourists explore the city with great enjoyment. The melting of the snow uncovers the green terrain and making its green beauty visible. You can explore the entire town with great ease and comfort. This is the only reason why it attracts the maximum of tourists who wish to cool themselves and take a chilled break from the heated cities.

MONSOON (JULY TO SEPTEMBER)
The region receives rainfall from July till September that makes the entire place wet heavy rainfalls. There are frequent landslides faced by hilly areas. This makes it prone to risks of accidents. Shimla becomes the off-season spot for tourists who don’t mind taking risks for a budget-friendly trip. The temperature in Shimla during monsoon is well-maintained at 14°C to 20°C. Although the temperature is comfortable enough, it is less convenient to explore the place during monsoon.
