How to reach Manori

The nearest Airport one can find is undoubted, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport in Mumbai. Tourist boarding to this airport can travel by car, bus or hire a taxi. The Manori island is just 40 km away from Mumbai city. You can reach the beach with a minimum of time depending upon from which part of the city you started your journey.

By Road

As Manori is just 40 km away from Mumbai, reaching Manori is very simple and easy. You can get a bus or auto from Malad station to reach Marve Beach. You can also hire a taxi to reach Marve. From here, travel by ferry to reach Manori island. The Fare is just Rs. 10 per person. They also give you the option to carry your bike at the same rate Rs. 10 per bike. From Borivali station, you have to get a bus or auto to reach Gorai beach and then a ferry ride same as Marve.

By Railway

The nearest local railway stations for Manori are Malad and Borivali of Western Railways. If coming from different parts of the country, you can come to Dadar, Bandra or Churchgate Terminus of the Indian Railways and get a local train towards Borivali. From you will have to get down at Malad or Borivali. After reaching either of the station travel by bus, auto or taxi to reach Manori. After reaching Manori island travel a little distance by auto or taxi or bike to reach Manori beach.
