Jog Falls is one of the popular waterfalls of India. It is also a major tourist attraction in Karnataka. The place is located on the border of Shimoga and Uttara Kannada districts of Karnataka.
Jog Falls is also the highest waterfall In the state and many people mistakenly refer as highest waterfalls of India. It drops about a huge 253 m of height. However, the water flow has now become low due to the construction of Linganamakki Dam.
