How to reach Agra

HOW TO REACH

By Air: To reach Agra via Air the nearest airport you can consider is the Indira Gandhi International Airport which is about two hundred kilometers away from the city. Though there are two more airports in Agra if you’re visiting from another country then this is the nearest airport. It will take you around four to five hours to reach Agra via a cab and around six or seven hours through a bus. For a comfortable ride, a cab is the best option you can go for.

By Train: There are lots of Railway Stations in Agra but the one which is nearest to the city is the Agra Cantt Railway Station. This is the nearest station that connects to the main city and there are hotels and resorts you can look out for any time.

By Road: If you’re planning to visit Agra by road then the most convenient way is to get your cab or ride on the Yamuna Expressway which is an eight-lane expressway which directly connects to Agra and the main attractions there. If you’re planning to visit from Delhi or Lucknow this is the best route for you as it will take you around three to four hours from Delhi to reach Agra and about six or seven hours from Lucknow.
