Chenchu Lakshmi Tribal Museum

Chenchu Lakshmi Tribal Museum shows the glimpse of the lives of various indigenous tribes who live in Srisailam forests. The museum is located near the entrance to Srisailam town. This museum bas been made after Chenchu Lakshmi and his statue can also be seen at the museum.

The museum shows the practices and culture of tribes, so you can better understand this life. The museum has two floors. Eco flowers displays a wide array of artifacts including Idols of Gods, weapons, objects of daily use, musical instruments and many more.

There is also a part with images of dinosaurs and tribal huts. There is also a children play area inside the museum complex. You can also buy honey at a shop in museum. This honey is collected by the members of tribes and is sold by government to support them.

The Chenchu Lakshmi Museum opens at 8.30 AM and you can be there till 8 PM. The entree fee at the museum is Rs. 10 per person.

The place is located just one km from the Srisailam bus stand. So, one can reach there easily. You can easily get the auto rickshaws to reach there.
