Rakab Forest
Rakab Forest is known to e the Forest of 16 cross and used to be a hunting place of Kashipur. The place is nearly 35Km. from Purulia Town.
Maharaja Keshgarh fought the British rule bravely but lost and British looted the Purulia treasury. Maharaja was hung to death here. The fort is still here in dying condition and tells the story of rich past of the district .
