HOW TO REACH McLeodGanj

The nearest airports from McLeod Ganj are Gaggal, Chandigarh, and Jammu, with a distance of 20 km, 256 km, 193 km. People also opt for Delhi airport as it has frequent flights from different parts of the country. The Chandigarh airport is also well-connected with the major nearby cities. After deboarding to any of the airports, you can do the rest of the journey by hiring a cab or travel by any of the buses provided by the state.
BY ROAD
You can reach Dharmashala which is just 9 km away from the town, by numbers of ways. There are facilities of overnight buses from New Delhi, that take you to McLeod Ganj. Another option available for the tourists is travel by the regular bus service provided by Himachal Roadway and Himachal Tourism. On reaching Dharmashala you can easily reach the destination by hiring a cab or travel by local bus.
BY TRAIN
The nearest railway station located at 25 km away from McLeod Ganj is Kangra Mandir. There are also provisions for gauge railways the nearest broad-gauge railway station Pathankot is located 90 km from the place. There are buses and taxis available to carry-out the rest of the journey to the hill-station.
