HOW TO REACH MATHURA
By Air: The nearest airport leading to Mathura is the Indira Gandhi International Airport which is about 170 kilometers away. You can reach there by both buses and taxis. It might take you about 3 long hours to reach there depending on the route and weather conditions on the day.
By Train: In order to reach Mathura, you must get off at the Mathura Junction itself. The railway station is well connected across north India and has all the amenities. If you’re traveling from Delhi then there are direct trains that will lead to Mathura.
By Road: If you’re planning to visit Mathura by road, the best way is to reach Delhi first and then you should consider taking the Yamuna Expressway for the most convenient and comfortable journey. This is a four-lane expressway with 3 tolls. There are direct buses and taxis available for Mathura and it might take you two to three hours depending on the weather you’re traveling in.
