How to reach Haridwar

HOW TO REACH

By Air: If you’re visiting Haridwar via airplane from another Country then the nearest airport you should look up to is the Indira Gandhi International Airport which is about 250 kilometers away from the city. There are buses and taxis available which will take around six to seven hours to reach Haridwar. If you’re within the country and planning to visit here by air then the nearest airport for you is Dehradun Airport. The distance is about forty kilometers away and there are both buses as well as cabs that travel till Haridwar. It should take a couple of hours for you to reach Haridwar from this Airport.

By Train: The nearest Railway Station for you to reach Haridwar is the Haridwar Junction. The station is about four or five kilometers away from the main city and it should take you not more than fifteen minutes to reach the city.

By Road: If you’re planning to visit Haridwar via road from Delhi for instance then you should travel via NH334. The distance from Delhi to Haridwar via this route is around 230 kilometers and it should take you about five to six hours to get there depending on the weather and climate in which you’re traveling.
