Diu is a small island covered by the Arabian Sea from three sides. It is located hear the port of Veraval. Diu is the tenth least populated Indian district and comes in union territory of Daman and Diu, India. The island covers at area of 38.8 sqkm.
Diu has low skyline with only big building is the fort. Diu first is the most visited landmark here. Diu is known for its Portuguese architecture. There are three Portuguese Baroque churches, an ancient Lord Shiva temple and Naida Caves. There's also a lighthouse near to Nagoa beach.
