BEST TIME TO VISIT BHARATPUR
Bharatpur experiences three major seasons and these are the Summer Season which starts from around April to June. Bharatpur in Rajasthan is the driest state in India which experiences one of the hottest summers around the country. Temperatures during these months shoot up to 45 degrees Celsius. Although there are golden dunes in nearby cities which makes up an incredible sight, the heat is still unbearable and you will have to enjoy them from a distance in air-conditioned tents. That being said, summer is an offseason when hotels and flights offer a plethora of discounts, so this is an ideal time to visit if your budget is a little low.
Then comes the Monsoon season which starts from July to September and Bharatpur during this time has the perfect mix of heritage and natural beauty which gets enriched in monsoon. The picturesque views and that rain-drenched greenery left after a downpour are absolutely breathtaking to look at. In addition to sightseeing, you can picnic in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and also enjoy the sights of over two hundred resident bird species that reside within the park. Talking about temperature during this time, its around 33 degrees which are fair enough for sightseeing and traveling around.
The next is the Winter Season which is from October to March and winters might get chilly in Bharatpur, it depends and this is where the beauty of the city comes to life. January being the coldest month is absolutely perfect for traveling around and sightseeing. The average temperature is around 19 degrees Celsius and it falls to 10 degrees at night. This is also the best time to visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to witness the beautiful migratory birds which are very relaxing as you are away from your hectic life schedule. You can also ride a bicycle in the sanctuary within limited areas as there are other wild animals which may cause harm. If that sounds tiring, you can hop on a jeep for long distances. One thing here should be noted that you don't forget to carry sufficient warm clothes to help you get through the freezing days and nights.
