Nandprayag is a holy place in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Nandakini rivers. Many devotees dive in this Sangam to wash their sins. According to the Puranas, Nandprayag was the capital of Yaduvansh.
It is one of the five offerings which is the gateway to famous pilgrim places like Badrinath and Kedarnath. Vishnuprayaag, Karnprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag are other Prayag.
Nandprayag is famous for its snow-covered mountains beautiful scenery. There are many devotees from all over the country to visit the Gopalji temple on the banks of the Alaknanda River.
