This museum is special because it has a research center on the fifth floor known as “The Joseph L. Brechner Research Center”.

The research center was possible to be created because the late Marion Bordy Brechner donated in the honor of her husband who was an award-winning journalist and freedom-of-information advocate. The research center has a library and archives available to the public through a prior appointment.
