Via Road:
Patnitop can be reached by bus or taxi through Jammu-Srinagar National Highway 1-A. Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation run special luxury buses to Jammu railway station and airport. Buses are available from Patnitop to Katra, which is the original city of Vaishnodevi. Tourists can also go to Patnitop Cab from Jammu.
Via Rail:
The nearest railway stations to Patnitop are Jammu Tawi and Udhampur railway stations. Jammu is well connected to Tawi with New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna, and Rishikesh. Although the Udhampur railway station is not yet fully developed, it is still connected to New Delhi and Jammu. Tourists can easily reach Patnitop from these stations by rental cab or bus.
Via Air:
The nearest airport to Patnitop is Jammu Airport from which there are regular flights to Delhi, Mumbai Chennai, and Bangalore. Jammu airport is also connected to other cities like Srinagar, Chandigarh, and Leh. Both buses and taxis are available for Patnitop at Jammu Airport.
