Joshimath

Jyotirmath popularly known as Joshimath located in the Chamoli District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Joshimath is situated at a hight of 1875 meters from the sea level. Joshimath is just like a base location for Badrinath, Auli, and many other climbing expeditions and trekking trails. Joshimath is concidered as home to one of the four cardinal. The place has been established by Adi Shankara. pilgrims from whole country comes and take their final stay at Joshimath. There are many hotels and dharamshalas in the town for people coming from different places. There is huge rush in the town when kapaat of Badrinath temple are open. Just few kilometers above the joshimath, there is an beautiful valley of Auli covered by snow in the month of winters.
