India is the home of many incredibly beautiful places. Some of the real and natural beauty of India is pure and untouched. Many of us are unaware of these beautiful hidden places. There are few places in India where you are not allowed to go without a permit. You need special permission to visit these places. As these places are not touched by the tourist, they are in their purest form. Some of these places are home to terrorists, Naxalites, and Maoist. So, the government restricted these are for safety.

1. Aksai Chin, Jammu & Kashmir
Aksai Chin is the disputed border region of Jammu & Kashmir and China. It lies in the Himalayas and separates the Indian-controlled state of J&K from the Chinese-controlled area. No one is allowed to go there. It is also known as one of the most dangerous but beautiful places in the world.
2. Nicobar Islands
The Nicobar Islands is the group of islands that are in the eastern Indian Ocean. They are untouched and natural. UNESCO has announced these Islands as one of the world networks of biosphere reserves. Visitors can visit few areas of Nicobar but the area which belongs to tribal communities is strictly prohibited.
3. North Sentinel Island, Andaman
North Sentinel Island is the part of Andaman and Nicobar and the only place in the world with last uncontacted people. The tribal which belongs there don’t want any intruders on their Island. So, the Indian government makes efforts to ensure they’re left undisturbed.
4. Chambal River Basin, Madhya Pradesh
This area has many regional dacoits. That’s why people and police suggest you to not go there. Although many Bollywood movies have been shooted in some of the laces in Chambal still it’s not safe to go there if you are a traveler.
5. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan:
The Bhangarh fort was built in 17th-century in the Rajasthan state of India by Bhagwant Das for his younger son Madho Singh. This fort comes into the most haunted places in India. You can visit few areas of this fort in Day (under certain conditions) but permission to go in this fort after sunset is prohibited.
6. Siachen Glacier:
The Siachen Glacier is the longest glacier in the Karakoram which is located in the eastern Karakoram range in the Himalayas. At Siachen Glacier, the Line of Control between India and Pakistan ends. It is also the highest military point in the world where only the military has permission to go. Normal people are not permitted to visit.
7. Barren Islands, Andaman
Barren Island in Andaman and Nicobar is the home of only active Volcano in India. The red-hot lava and smoke are always erupting from the mouth of the volcano. No one is allowed to go to this island but you can see it from a distance. This is due to safety reasons.
8. Cholamu Lake, North Sikkim
Cholamu Lake or Tso Lhamo lake is one of the highest lakes in the world which is 4km southwest of the international border with China in North Sikkim, India. You need special permission from Army and Sikkim police/administration to visit this lake.
9. Silent Valley National Park, Kerala
Due to some Maoist attack in Silent Valley, the government has restricted the area and prohibited the entry of tourists in this area. No one can go there without approval from the authority.
10. Tura Valley, Meghalaya
Tura Valley is located at the foothills of the Tura Hills and right below the Tura Peak. Sadly, this valley is the home of many most notorious terrorist organizations in the Northeast. So, it is dangerous to travel to this valley or even the Tura town for travelers.
